Day 1: Cancún: Mérida

Arrival at Cancun International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Mérida.

Day 2: Mérida: City tour

Arrival at Cancun International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Mérida. We start watching the important points of the city, such as Paseo de Montejo where we can find museums like the Canton house, the Twin houses, the Quinta Montes Molina, the Minaret, among
many more. We make a stop at the Monument of the Flag to capture the sunset. Continuing towards the Old Itzimná, the House of the Almond Trees. Then, discover the park of San Juan, Hidalgo Park,
until arriving to the main square, where we can find diverse historical and cultural buildings such as the Montejo House, continuing to the Park of Santa Lucía, where diverse cultural activities are commonly carried out and you can be part of. Rest of the day free.

Day 3: Mérida: Celestún

Celestun, natural paradise: discover the best preserved mangrove forest of Mexico with all the beauties that it protects such as the fresh water springs that are bringing water from the cenotes to the sea and the hundreds of species of birds that nest and feed in the estuary (such as pelicans, frigate birds, cormorants, pink flamingoes, etc.). After we finish with the one hour and fifteen-minute boat ride along the estuary, we will go to the beautiful beach in Celestun town to enjoy a fresh lunch on the beach, and we will take some free time to go for a swim in the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Upon completion, you will be driven back to your hotel in Mérida.

Day 4: Mérida: cooking class

Starting as a meeting point in one of the most emblematic parks, which are part of the historical center of the city, the park of the Hidalgo, we will direct walking through the streets of the downtown towards Galvez Market where in addition to having the opportunity to know one of the most popular and colorful markets in the city, we will buy the ingredients for the preparation for the food of the day. Once we found the products that are needed for the recipes, the cooking class will start in the host house where we will live the experience. At the end of the activity, the drop-off will be in the nearest point to your hotel, it can take us between 5 and 6 hours for the full tour.

Day 5: Mérida - free day

Free day in Mérida to enjoy the city. Optional tours available.

Day 6: Mérida - Chichén Itzá - Valladolid

Today you will be able to visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Chichén Itzá. Discover the best known and most visited Mayan site in the world. Chichén Itzá is a UNESCO World
Heritage Site and is part of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. It was the political, religious and cultural center of the Mayan empire, in addition to being the capital of the area. The city had its
heyday between 900 and 1200 AD. Its most emblematic building, the pyramid or castle of Kukulkan, is a must-see on the site. Its structure, characteristic of Mayan constructions of this era, is a witness to the knowledge of the Mayans in mathematics, astronomy, geometry and acoustics. Finally, transfer to Valladolid.

Day 7: Valladolid - Playa del Carmen

Day 8: Playa del Carmen: cenotes

Discover one of the Riviera Maya's best-kept secrets: the Kaan Luum Lagoon. Its name means "yellow land" in Mayan, and it is a spectacular natural setting located within the dense Mayan jungle.
On this tour near Tulum, you will find two impressive cenotes. We begin our activities in the first semi-open cenote with a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters, then explore a cavernous cenote where you can observe the various stalactite formations. The tour includes an à la carte meal with delicious dishes and fresh water.

Day 9: Playa del Carmen: Tulum & Cobá

Enjoy the perfect blend of culture and adventure, local style. Visit the ruins of these important Mayan cities and travel back in time, enjoying their splendour, architecture, and the flora and fauna of these enigmatic places. Discover Tulum, the legendary Mayan city located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. Continue your tour to the crystal-clear and refreshing waters of a semi-open cenote. Afterward, a tour awaits you through Mayan traditions such as the Honey of the Melipona Bee. A demonstration of the cacao bean (a gift from the Gods) will follow, concluding with a visit from a Shaman who will perform a Mayan ceremony, a gift from their noble heritage. We will travel to the mythical Cobá, where we will pamper you with the best of regional cuisine to recharge your batteries and climb the tallest pyramid on the peninsula, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the enigmatic jungle.

Day 10: Playa del Carmen – Cancún

At the appropriate time, transfer to Cancun International Airport to catch your return flight.
