Day 1: Arrival
Individual arrival in Keflavík, Iceland (distance from Reykjavik approx. 50 km) and transfer to your booked hotel in Reykjavík.
Day 2: Reykjavík
With your Hop On Hop Off ticket, you have the whole day to explore Reykjavík. Visit the highlights of the Icelandic capital: Hallgrím Church, Perlan with its viewing platform, the Harpa concert and conference center and the town hall.
Day 3: Day at leisure
Today you can choose between a quiet day in Reykjavík or one of the additional day trips on offer.
Day 4: Day at leisure
Today is free for you to explore Iceland on your own. Our recommendation: Discover the Snæfellsness peninsula during an optional excursion.
The Snæfellsness peninsula in the west of Iceland is like a miniature version of the entire country. In addition to the characteristic Snæfellsjökull glacier, you will see white and black sand beaches, bird cliffs, impressive mountains and volcanic craters, incredibly rich trout lakes, lush valleys and unique harbours in charming fishing villages.
Day 5: Golden Circle
The Golden Circle Tour includes some of the most beautiful sights in Iceland. You start the day with a visit to the geyser area, where the Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 meters into the sky every 4 - 8 minutes. Afterwards you drive to the golden waterfall Gullfoss. The Þingvellir National Park is a historical and geological wonder, as the American and Eurasian continental plates are drifting apart here. At Friðheimar, you will learn how Icelanders grow their vegetables in a greenhouse using geothermal energy.
Day 6: South coast
Today's excursion is ideal for nature lovers. You drive to the south coast of Iceland, one of the most beautiful regions in the country. On the way to Vík, at the southern tip of the island, you will stop at the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall and the majestic Skógafoss waterfall. During the excursion, enjoy the breathtaking views of the glaciers inland and the coast with its impressive rock formations and black sand beaches.
Day 7: Day at leisure
Today is free for you to explore on your own. Get to know the volcanic island even better during an optional excursion.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport and individual return flight according to flight schedule.
